MACBA

¡Hola chicos!

You could say that this week has been mostly dedicated on visiting museums and walking around the city. Now that I am here I want to take advantage of every single minute I have...plus I want to visit all seven museums on my card!

Today me and Sahri visited MACBA which is the museum of contemporary art of Barcelona ( Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona ). To be honest I didn't like it at all! There were too many videos and strange things going on...not my thing. I never understand contemporary art and I don't think I ever will! Not worth of paying 8 euros for the entrance, but that's just my opinion.

 These are the most normal pieces of art...the rest of it was too weird :/

Now this is what I call art! Seriously...did somebody really take time to think to make something like this! "Let's take some wet cardboard, a few boxes and a rope and make some art!" Even I could do better...please!

Some strange thing again...don't ask me! 

 I didn't understand this room. We had to take our shoes off because it was full of sand covered with a plastic cover and balloons...I am still not getting they idea of it. How's Marilyn involved with this?

 This was a very unique museum and now I have two more left on my card. I hope the next one is better than this one!

 After a failed museum tour we met Vicky and went to Starbucks for some coffee. I just love the sun and the weather was so beautiful today even though it was a bit cold. We should have spent the day outside but as they say in Spain no pasa nada (it's okay)!

 A day without a cake would be imposible for me! Carrot cake por favor...I must say that the one I make is better, but it was okay for a starbucks cake buahaha. Next time tarta de santiago or giovanni ice cream! nam :D

Finally tomorrow is Friday and I am happyy! There is going to be lot's of salsa and good music, me likes! :D Sounds like it's going to be a good weekend!

 

Now I am going to go to bed wearing my new pj's which are so comfortable!

¡Hola chicos!

I have so many things to talk about today so be patient with me! Today was so much fun and I got to do so many things. How I love the feeling when I come back home and I have actually spent my day on doing something fun and not just sitting in front of the computer the whole day! As usual my day started with my Spanish lessons and a strong cup of cafe con leche! Yesterday I almost fell asleep in class and my teacher Hector told me to get a coffee because I couldn't keep my eyes open...yeah it was that bad! Today I was prepared and I didn't fall asleep wohoo :D

After class me, Sahri and Vicky visited a museum called CCCB which was quite good. I wouldn't have payed for it though if it wasn't included in the card, but it was fun to go there with good company and we had a blast...at least I had!

 Vicky and Sahri! Sahri is my classmate and she is from Austria! We are very lazy students though and we never do our homework...hups! :/

 That's one HUGE pig...or at least I think it's a pig...what else could it be? It's ugly anyways...

 And later my second cafe con leche...or was it the third one? In Finland I never drank coffee and since I came here I have started all these bad habits...I have definitely learned how to order a coffee here " ¡Un cafe con leche para llevar por favor!". I won't even say anything about the caramel chocolate thingy which was really good!

After a good day I am happy to go to bed muy contenta! Three museums left and lot's of things to see :D Can't wait!

Una semana muy loca!

¡Hola!

What a week! So many things have happened and now I am just starting to act normal again. I have been so stressed with that aparment thingy, but now everything is good again. I wanted to write sooner but when I got to my new apartment the internet wasn't working...just my luck! Anyway now it's fixed and I am happyyyy :D

Ufff I have been so busy that I didn't realize that the month changed and I have my birthday in 20 days wohoo! It's going to be a big fiestaaa hehe

My life here is the same as always. School, salsa and muchas tapas. That's what I mostly do here...study, dance and eat (a lot!). This is what a gap year is about! Enjoying life and eating crazy amounts of good food :D

 Pinchos once again! Now I know what's the difference between pinchos and tapas! If I understood right pinchos are the ones with the stick in the middle. So simple!

Chicas preciosas! Women going crazy for ice cream,especially when it's chocolate flavor!

Oh Vicky! I am going to miss this chica so much...so sad that she is leaving on Friday. Why God, why??

Forget => move on

Hola chicos!

I had a short break from blogging mainly because I didn't have time to take pictures or do anything that fascinating. I went back to searching a new place to stay and my whole week has been so stressful after what happened with the other apartment. I thank God that from the school they found me a room to stay for this week but on Sunday there are coming new students and it's fully booked so this week I had to keep looking for a new place to stay. Now I found a new apartment and this time hopefully everything will go better than the last time!

I don't know what I learned from this experience...not to trust people? I don't think that's the right way to see things, I should have been more careful, but no matter how careful you are sometimes bad things can happen and this time it just happened to be me.

On the other hand when we think how many bad things happen in this world this is tiny compared to that! I don't want this to ruin my time here and now that the aparment problem is solved it's time to move on and enjoy this one month that I have left here wohoooo :)

There are still nice people out there and I am so thankfull to everybody for their help and support. I am lucky that all my flatmates have been very nice and we get along so well! I also have to say a HUGE thank you to Gary because he helped me find a new place to stay and came with me to all the apartments to check that everything is okay...how nice of him!

Ella ( my current flatmate) made us some cupcakes :) I just had to take a picture because it looks so cute!
