Back in the land called home

Hello there!

This was the end of my trip in Spain. On wednesday I went to barcelona for a day and met my lovely friend  de inglaterra who always knows how to make a person laugh! Thank you for being there for me Eve :)

It is hard to leave a country that I love so much but I am sure I will go back again sometime soon. Out of all the cities I visited Granada and Seville were my favourite...Seville maybe more. But the most important thing for me as I am traveling are not so much the places I see but the people I get to meet.

I am left with hardly any money after this trip but I gained really good friends, awesome memories and great life experiences! All that is so much more important than money for me.

But I am starting to get emotional here! Its funny how it feels to be back home again. I always laugh how Greek people are proud of their hospitality and all that....pffffff. Today I had to take the bus back to my hometown so I asked some employer if the bus was the one that was going there. He got so mad at me and asked me if I was totally stupid...ummm hello! I just wanted to know where the bus was going -_- He didnt need to be such a dick about it. Ahhhhhhh good to be back home again!

I apologize for my bad english but I am writing this on the bus. I will post pictures of my adventures asap! Stay tuned :)

Donde estamos?

Hola!

Here is a small post for today! Right now I am waiting for my Greek friend to come and I hope she wont get lost on the way here! Let me say something about Seville....its a freaking labyrinth!! I have never been so lost in a city like I am here D:

On Tuesday I went out with my new friend Marco from Italiaaa and we got totally lost. We were walking and walking when we realized (or actually he realized) that we were going on the wrong direction (just great!)! Thanks to Marco and google maps we found our way back to the hostel wohooo!

Yesterday I visited plaza españa which was absolutely breath taking! After that I ended up walking around for a few hours desperate to find a market to get some chocolate, but I didnt find one....maaaah! I think most of the time here I have spent it on trying to figure out where I am...so loooost! Even the markets are well hidden grrrrr

Now I have to hurry to get my friend from somewhere I dont know....probably get lost again!

Hasta pronto!

Ole sevilla!!

Hola!

Here I am in the land of Sevilla! On my last night in Granada I spent it on my own as my Spanish men left back home on Sunday. It felt a bit lonely to be in a 8 bed dorm on my own, but what can you do! I will probably meet them again here in Sevilla so yey!

Everything looks really nice so far even though I havent seen much as I arrived yesterday in the evening. After I had checked in I got a bit excited at the super market and bought a terrible amount of food ( dont go to the market when you are hungry). Plus everything is so super cheap here so why not? Later I decided to be a bit social and I went up to the terrace of the hostel and met some more people :) I am becoming really good at this meeting-people-kind-of-thing! Trust me I didnt used to be this social before!

With the people I met including two guys from Denmark, three from France and two girls from Russia we went to this really cool place where they had a flamenco show for free. Really nice even though the dancer was a bit gordita and she couldnt move that well :/
At the show I met more people surprise surprise! One guy from poland and one from Germany, but they had been living in Sevilla for a while now so with them I walked around the city later on. It feels like most of the people I meet here are all men, but I get along better with them. Not so complicated as women :P

Oh well! My friend will be coming in a few days so I am really excited to see her again! Plus the guy I met in barcelona is coming as well to visit me here! I am becoming popular...okay I know they are coming to see Sevilla and not me so much but let me feel a bit special :P

I guess I have some exploring to do so see ya laterrrrr!

Granadaaaa

Hola!

I am still in Granada but I will be heading to Sevilla on Monday! I must say that these past few days here have been quite awesome! I met more people with who I have been spending time with. Also I am in the same room with 7 guys from Sevilla! Mom and dad dont freak out when you read this! They are actually the nicest guys I have ever met! One of the guys told me yesterday " I told my mom on the phone that we are staying in a room with a girl who is traveling on her own. She thinks you are crazy for doing this, but we will take care of you dont worry!" :) Que precioso!

Mom you better start worrying because I am marrying a Spanish guy no doubt about that! :P If that happens I wil need to improve my Spanish beause sometimes it feels like I dont know anything. In Andalucia people speak so fast and they have this strange accent that I cant keep up with what thy are talking about. I feel stupid to keep asking them what they are saying that in the end I just nod my head when they are actually asking me whats my name...hupsy!

By the way.... never ask a Spanish guy to guess your age! My average age would be 25 according to them. This is not goooood -_- Maybe there is something in the food here that makes me look Japanese and older, who knows!

After staying with all these men I am getting used to all the farting and snoring in the room. Too much testosterone I cant handle it! Plus somebody has taken my shampoo...things dissapear in Granada...wooooo!

Now I am going to spend time with my Spanish men!

Hasta luegoo!

G like Granada

Hola chicos!

Here I am in rainy Granada :) Despite that I love the atmosphere here! First of all the hostel is really nice and I have met lots of nice people!

Yesterday I went to four bars with a guy from Germany and one from Arabia. Dont ask why we went to all these bars...for fun I guess? Haha it was quite nice and we got to talk for the differencies between our cultures and all that! Besides I am always up to meeting new people and learning new things! They as well thought I was Japanese when they first saw me...is this some kind of joke??? Maybe my parents have been hiding something from me all these years!! Oh well...

After all those bars we went to dance salsa and it was actually just me and another guy dancing in the end. Not so many people go to dance on thursdays I guess! I must have looked quite stupid as the guy was dancing salsa the cuban style and I have been used to the LA style, but we managed it somehow!

Today I walked around the city with a guy and a girl from Germany, but I didnt get to see the Alhambra yet! Fortunately I got a ticket for Sunday so lets hope its not raining then! Fingers crossed!

These are my latest news from my adventures here! Stay tuned for the next exciting episode :P

Besosss!! xx

Ali ali alicante

Hola!!

Today I arrived safely to Alicante and so far I have done quite many things! They were organizing a paella class with the people from the hostel so how could I say no to paella? Plus I met some finish people and got to chat with them a bit :)

We got to see how they made the paella from scratch and even got to participate a bit in the whole process! Probably the best paella I have ever had....so yummy!! We also got to see how they make the tortilla as well mmmmm! When I go home I have to try to do it myself....we will see how that is going to turn out! Probably a disaster in the kitchen....oh well! You always have to try new things even if they dont turn out the way you imagined, right?

Also I walked at the beach surprise surprise, but it wasnt as nice as in bcn. Okay, I guess I shouldnt be comparing all the cities I see with Barcelona but I cant help it! As I was sitting there enjoying my peace and quite a Spanish guy started talking to me...I dont know wether he was trying to hit on me, but I am not used to this kind of behaviour that a total stranger starts chatting with me on the street! Strange men in Spain...stay away from them :P

Tomorrow I am heading to Granada! Yey! More news to come soon :)

ps. why everybody thinks I am japanese when they see  me?

Next stop => Alicante

Hola chicos!!

Finally I got to see another city in Spain! On monday I left for Valencia and actually the night before I decided not to sleep at all and hung out till my bus left early in the morning. Fortunately I wasnt alone as a guy from the hostel was up the whole night with me! He was such great company and bcn by night is better because there arent so many people everywhere. It was a fun night even though we looked like zombies in the morning hehe

When I arrived to Valencia I was super exhausted, but what can you expect when you stay up all night? So the secret is lots of coffee and fresh air! I walked around Valencia and saw many nice things...:) thats pretty much what I did. I wish I had met people at the hostel, but hopefully I will meet more people in Alicante which is my next stop from here! I wasnt supposed to go there but it was my last minute decision :) I am becoming more spontanious wohoooo!

Also today I got good news as my greek friend that I met in Florence is coming to Seville for one week and we are going to spend some time traveling together! Couldnt be more excited :D

Now I am going to put some cream on my burned nose and get some sleep tonight!

Hasta luego!!
xoxo
