Budapest part 2

Well hello there!

Once again I am going to share a few more pictures of our little trip in Budapest! I must say that the weather was absolutely amazing. The funny thing is that we were all expecting cold and rainy weather but I guess you should never trust the weather forecast! Oh the amount of sweat in those warm jeans...but I am not gonna get into more details about that heh

 Food...yummy!! In the evening we had this typical Hungarian meal...falafel! haha Don't worry we did actually try some Hungarian food as well, but it was too expensive to eat at a restaurant every day.

 After our big falafel meal me and Denise went for a night walk! I love exploring a new city at night time as everything looks a lot more different.

Somebody told me that this was one of the five most expensive hotels in the world! One night could cost about 4000 euros...so cheap! I will probably stay there the next time I visit Budapest :P

Budapest part 1

Hello!

Here are "a few" pictures of my trip in Hungary! It is always hard to decide which pictures to put on here when I have taken so many.

Anyhow...after our long trip we finally arrived to Budapest! We got this hop on-hop off ticket for the touristic bus which was really good as we got to see all the most important attractions lets say. Especially the Buda side was really nice!

We went for some car shopping! Yes, we have expensive taste ;)

Serbia

Hello there!!

After a crrraaaazy week of traveling around from one place to another I am back home. I had a great time in Budapest and here I am once a again to share my lovely experiences with you!

As I said on one of my previous posts we traveled by car all the way from Greece to Budapest. We went through Bulgaria and stayed the night in Serbia before heading to Hungary. So these pictures are actually from a town called Nis in Serbia.

Bill got all excited with this! I guess most men have a thing about whiskey...am I wrong?

 

Serbia was actually nicer than I expected! Even though (if I'm allowed to be honest) it wasn't the most beautiful place I have ever seen, but the people where so nice which left a very good impression about Serbia! Also the food was really good!!

Exploring the city

Hello loves!

The adventure is still continuing in Budapest! Yesterday we got to do the bus tour and saw the beautiful castle at the pest side...or was it the buda side??? I am so confused of which side is which! The surprising thing about this city is that we have to pay for the toilets! Do I really need to pay to have a wee here...excuse me?

Today we went to see the Market which was also very nice and after that we went to this boat tour that took us to the Marget island. Now my feet are killing me but I dont really care...as long as I get to see as much as possible here I am happy!

Tomorrow we are going to the Szechenyi baths which should be nice and after that if we have time the parlament building. So many things to see and too little time! Oh well, I will have to come back again sometime! :)

Budapest

Hello there!

Here I am still alive in Budapest! We drove all the way through Bulgaria to Serbia where we stayed the night and got to walk around Nis. I must admit that it wasnt that bad sitting in the car for eight hours as I thought it was gonna be. We were singing songs like "all by myself" and " let it snow, let it snow, let it snow" in the car hahaha. I sure have good company with me so the trip didnt feel so terribly long! By the way, I had the best meal in Serbia! They brought a big plate of different kinds of meat and I was all mmmmmmmmmm! I must admit that I could never be a vegeterian...

Today we started driving towards Hungary and we arrived around four o clock to Budapest so we were another eight hours on the road! Actually I am kindda getting used to traveling by car...plus you get to see so much more than traveling by plane!

Cant wait to walk around the city tomorrow and see whats Budapest like! :)

Happy Easter!

Hello there!!

First of all, Χριστός Ανέστη!! Easter is the BIG thing here in Greece and as every year we had lam...

 Eating lam's liver...oh so tasty! ;)

After that I drove back home for 2 hours...the longest trip I have done with the car and we are still alive!! Wohooo!

 

Now I need to pack my things for tomorrow as I am heading to Budapest yipiii!! :D

Hello there!!

This is my first post for May, exciting! I can't believe how fast these past few months have passed by...iiiiih! Today I booked my ticket back to Finland in the first of June so I will be working the whole summer again as I did last year...blaaaah. I am actually glad to see all my friends again but working in the market is not the most exciting thing in the world, but that's life! I had an awesome gap year though so I can't complain! :)

But the adventure hasn't ended yet! I am going to Budapest on Monday with my mom's friends. I know...people always find it strange when I tell them that I am going with two sixty year olds on a trip, but they are actually the coolest people I know and I am sure it's going to be lots of fun! YEY! :D

I have to show off my new super girly shoes! I am trying not to get blind with all that bling bling!
