Apartment...check!

¡Hola!

I have good news to share with you today! I found a nice apartment close the school and the rent is half of what I'm paying now. Today we signed the contract and hopefully everything will work out just fine...fingers crossed! Also my tickets to Greece have been booked on the fourth of December and I am actually quite happy to go back home after a long time. I love Barcelona, but I just don't know how it would be if stayed here for longer. I miss my family and friends already...

I am glad though that my sister is visiting and my friends from Finland are coming for a few days in the end of November and hopefully my friends from Greece are coming as well! I will be having many people visiting me which is nice :) I am looking forward to spend some time with them and show them around!

I am still a bit sick so I don't have any new pictures to show you :/ here are some old ones though! I think I am going to take it easy this week and just relax...but next week I definitely want to do something fun :)
¡Hasta luego!

Lonely chica

¡Hola chicos!

I have no pictures to show you for today unfortunately! The past few days I have been feeling a bit sick so I haven´t been able to do many things. At the moment I am looking for a new apartment because the one I am living now is wayyy too expensive for me, so all I have been doing is sitting home in front of my computer and looking for apartments, sending e-mails and calling people...blaaaah!

Also Nadja and Vanessa left on Saturday back to Germany and I have been feeling quite lonely to be honest. I feel a bit homesick as well, but I want to be positive and enjoy the time I have left here.

I guess I am having a bad day or something, but that's life! I mean it's normal to feel lonely at times, especially when you move to a totally strange city where you don't know anybody.

Let's hope I find a nice place to live that doesn't cost that much. That's the only thing I need to think about now!

¡Muchos besos!

Parc Guell

¡Hola!

After dancing salsa two days in a row I decided to take it easy today and finally got to visit Park Guell. It was sooooo full though that it was impossible to walk through the crowd, but I think I am going to visit it again in the middle of the week or something when there aren't that many people. I want to get a better look at it the next time!

We started our journey with a hot cup of coffee from starbucks...a bit ironic as we are in Spain, but I had to try it :P
The spanish people took over the place and I couldn't take a picture with the lizard :(
I want a ceiling like this in my apartment :D
Everybody wanted to take a picture of that cat...including me hehe
POSE!
Ulalaaa!
I think I'm going to grab something to eat now...have a great evening! :)

Uuuu tapas!

¡Hola!

Yesterday we went to a tapas restaurant to have some tapas of course! I am so screwed...I am sure I am going to gain soooo much weight here that I don't even want to think about it. I don't understand how Spanish people are so tiny! Especially women here are so skinny and it doesn't make sense...
The bad thing about finding a good tapas place here is that you have to go to places where turists don't go and usually they are in places which are difficult to find. Fortunately Gery was with us, the guy I met at the salsa club, so he took as to a very good tapas bar ;)

The name of the restaurant was Catalana so this is the place for you if you want to taste real Spanish food ;)
Note! The menu was in spanish...no more english menus for me por favor
To start with...patatas bravas! Looks good and tastes even better hehe! The rest I don't remember the names anymore, but everything was really good. Me encanta la comida española!
This is Gery! He is a bit loco but in a good way hehe :D
You can't come to Spain without trying sangría at least once!
After the tapas restaurant we went for some chupitos...okay I am lying. I just had to take a picture of the huge selection they had...about 300 different shots or maybe more. You can count them :P

Anyway...Today is salsa day so yeyyyy! Baila baila :D

Plaza España y La Pedrera

¡Hola!

Last night me and Nadja went to Plaza España and we walked up to the mall nearby to have a better look at the place. If I wasn't so afraid of high places I would have enjoyed the view more...at least I am trying to get over my fear by going up there!

You can see the fear on my face...gosh it was so high!

Also today we went to the famous bus tour and if you are ever concidering on trying it, I recommend you don't. It was quite expensive (about 25 euros ) and we had to wait so long to get a bus for the next stop. On the other hand it was good to see the city, but the buses were so full and you couldn't find a seat upstairs. Anyway...we didn't get to visit Sagrada Familia or Park Guel today, just got a quick glance of Sagrada Familia. At least we got to see La Pedrera which was amazing!

Here are some failed pictures from the bus
 La casa Batlló
La Pedrera
 The terrace
One of the chimneys made of broken pieces of champagne bottles if I remember correctly! Now you know what to do with your broken bottles :D
 Ceiling
There were so many little details! I just loved the shape of everything and how beautiful it all looked together! Gaudi was a genius...I totally recommend you go to La Pedrera! It was worth every penny ;)
Now I have five more museums left on my card ulalaaa! :D
